What is the screen printing squeegee and the functions

    The printing ink scraper is usually made of rubber material, and the ink return plate is made of aluminum or other metal materials.

    The main functions of screen printing squeegee are as follows:

(1) Fill with ink. In the printing process, the squeegee plate first pushes the ink to coat the entire printing plate, and at the same time, makes the ink fill the openings in the graphic area of the printing plate.
(2) Embossing. The squeegee applies pressure to the screen printing plate, so that the screen printing plate and the substrate are in linear contact, and at the same time, the ink is pressed onto the surface of the substrate.
(3) Remove the ink. During the scratching stroke, the ink is scraped from the printing plate while printing.
(4) The screen printing machine is equipped with a printing ink scraper and an ink return plate. The main function of the ink return plate is to uniformly apply the ink to the screen printing plate, while scraping the excess ink back to the initial position of printing.
